COMMANDERS' WEATHER

Our 2026 Newport to Bermuda package is $549 and includes the following:

 

• Gulf Stream map and discussion sent each week up to race week beginning April 28 or the first Sunday after you sign up for the race package, whichever is later.  (4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7, and 6/14)

• Each day from Tue June 16 through Thu June 18 you will receive a weather forecast for the entire race, sent to your email. This will include the latest Gulf Stream Analysis, surface weather maps going out 8 days, and routing suggestions

• Fri June 19 - you will receive a final weather package including weather for the race, the final Gulf Stream analysis from Dr. Alice Ren, PhD (see About section), surface weather maps, and routing.  This will be given on-site, in-person, and also emailed

  • There will be a general briefing and continental breakfast Friday morning for Commanders’ Weather clients in Newport, RI. The briefing will be conducted by Chris Wasserback and Dr. Alice Ren, followed by a question and answer period.

• Window selection, departure forecast and en route updates back from Bermuda - at discounted pricing for our race subscribers only!

• Gulf Stream GRIB files - $42 each (or $350 for 10, and includes GS analysis for return)

• Return Gulf Stream analysis $60 - or include Gulf Stream GRIB $100

• GFS ½ degree resolution GRIB files $25 each

• Weather outlooks in advance available Fri Jun 5 and Jun 12- $50 each
